How to Install netspeed software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

netspeed software package provides Traffic monitor applet for GNOME, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install netspeed

netspeed is installed in your system.

Make ensure the netspeed package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netspeed *

You will get with netspeed package name, version, architecture and description in a table
